From the Main Arena through the Coaching Arena and into the Grass Roots Football Theatre, The Grass Roots Football Show is the only place you can hear such an impressive array of top practitioners, providing solutions for the many issues facing grass roots managers and coaches.

A day at The Grass Roots Football Show is the ultimate football experience. Make sure you bring your trainers and take part in one of the hundreds of coaching sessions taking place over three exciting days. In addition show off your silky skills on EA Sports’ FIFA 10, have your photo taken with one of the many famous football people attending the show or simply shop for the latest in coaching, training and playing equipment and apparel.

Cash Points

There are 5 fee paying cash points in close proximity to Halls 6 and 20, 2 opposite Hall 8, 2 by Hall 6 and 1 by Hall 18 (click here to download a plan of the NEC Atrium). There is a Natwest (free) cash point located in the piazza by the entrance to Hall 4.

Catering

There are numerous catering facilities in Halls 6 and 20 and throughout the NEC.

Child Policy

All children must be accompanied and supervised by responsible adults. Where parents are not personally attending the event with their children, parents must be satisfied that their children will be accompanied and adequately supervised by responsible adults acting on their behalf at all times. Parents/carers should write their mobile telephone number on wristlets available for children when entering the event. Lost children should be reported immediately to the nearest security guard.

Cloakrooms

Items can be left at the cloakrooms adjacent to Hall 20 during show opening times. Items are charged at £1 per item.

Directions

The Grass Roots Football Show is held in Halls 6 and 20 at the NEC, Birmingham. Birmingham International train station is located at the NEC and 10 minutes indoor walk away from the show. For road directions and maps please visit www.thenec.co.uk/travel.

Disabled Parking and Access

For vehicles displaying blue badges parking at the NEC is free of charge. There are allocated disabled parking areas near the NEC main entrance and the general car parks are serviced by a DDA compliant shuttle bus service.

Families and Groups

Pre-arrange a meeting point and exchange mobile phone numbers in case you are split up. Agree on a time and a place to meet up at the end of your visit. Children should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Lost children should be reported to a security guard immediately.

First Aid

For first aid please contact a member of the security team or event organisers. The Medical Centres are located by Atrium entrance 2, opposite Hall 8, and by Hall 5 next to the Visitor and Business Centre. Requests for ambulances must go via the security team to ensure the quickest access to venue.

Information

There is an Information point located by the Hall 20 main entrance and by the Hall 9 main entrance.

Lost Property

Lost property is handled by the NEC Security Office located in the Atrium near to Hall 20. This office can be contacted on 0121 767 3883.

Parking

Car Parking is available for £8 and is in N2-N7. Car parks are serviced by free shuttle buses. Parking can be pre-booked upon booking your ticket. Shuttle buses run to and from the Atrium immediately outside Hall 20.

Participation in Activities

Please note that there are no changing facilities at the event so come prepared. Trainers are suitable footwear for all activities. All persons participating in activities do so at their own risk. Please do not take part if you suffer from any significant medical conditions. Grassroots Football Live Limited, their staff, agents and suppliers can not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage suffered to participants when taking part in activities.

Photography/Filming

By entering the event members of the public irrevocably consent to their image being taken by the official filming/photographers and for that image to be used by Grassroots Football Live Limited in marketing and promotional materials. Visitors to the event are not permitted to film any seminars and sessions taking place in the official theatres/arenas. Anyone taking photos must have a valid reason for doing so and have gained permission from the person/persons being photographed. The event organisers reserve the right to question anyone taking photographs. If you have any concerns regarding a person filming/ taking photographs please speak to an event organiser or security guard immediately.

Special Needs

Ticket Terms and Conditions

Tickets are valid for all three show days, as stated on the ticket. Where applicable, details must be completed to validate tickets. Tickets must be exchanged on point of entry for a wristband. Re-admittance will only be permitted with an unbroken wristband. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
