An excellent event.

A couple of suggestions :

Maybe some sessions could have been demonstrated for coaching kids that are absolute beginners.

Maybe some of the sessions could have been repeated (as clashes made it difficult to see everything that I wanted to see). This could be achieved by starting earlier and finishing later.

I also think that the event should be made as cheap as possible for school groups and club groups.

Grassroots was amazing and a really fun day out!!! Suggestions for improvement:
-More famous people as this is a real attraction! My girls loved to see Billy Wingrove but perhaps more famous footballers.
-More to do with females in football. For example, although Arsenal Ladies had a stand they were not there on the Sunday and girls were under represented at the grassroots overall.

Apart from this the day was great and very well organised. We all had a great time.

A Great Event. Bigger and Better Than Last Year.

- Even more interactive areas would be better.
- Missed a few coaching demo session because of clashes.
- More Technical Skills coaching like Jon Collins' 'Cristiano Ronaldo Demo' - very impressive. Or repeating sessions like this on different days.
- More for beginner players / Toddlers.

See you next year!

Hi I came to the NEC on the Saturday and thought the debates on bad behaviour and kids coaching were very good - good to see Graham Taylor with so many opinions!

We went on the Saturday with our 3 football mad sons aged 17, 11 & 9 and we had the best day out. Thought it was very well organised, lots of things for the boys to do and see. Lots of interesting ideas for football teams but can honestly say the best bit was the boys meeting Harry Redknapp and Graham Taylor. They must have signed hundreds of autographs and had photos taken but they still had time to chat to my boys and have their picture taken with them, will definately be going again next year

Disagree with the previous comments about theBirmingham City Academy Session. Most of the Academy Sessions were the same old stuff they've been doing for years - but... Man Utd's session was fab. Fresh and exciting as was the Ronaldo Skills Session on the Sunday morning.
Easily the highlights of the Show!

My son and I both enjoyed the grass roots football event. Good to see plenty of ex pro's at the event.
I would sugggest that queue's for autographs are controlled better next time. We waited a long time to meet Harry Redknapp, only to be turned away as we got to the front. Stewards should have a cut off point to save people standing for long periods for nothing. Harry himself was happy to stay, but he was obviously timetabled to be somewhere else and was ushered away apologising.
